GUIDELINES
Greeting at the Door
You will be greeted at the door by one of our friendly ushers, who will take you to your seat.
If you are disabled: Please inform us should you require special assistance.
Turn off or silence electronic devices
Before entering the church, please put your mobile on silent or turn it off. Not doing so may distract those who came to worship.
Please Keep Noises Down To A Minimum
Enter quietly and remain reverently silent out of respect for God. If the congregation is interacting and being social, by all means feel free to chat.
However, once the service starts, pay attention to the person at the pulpit. Never talk during the sermon. No side conversations – side conversations are rude and often distractive.
Don't chew gum because a smacking or popping noise will disrupt the time that people are praying or listening to the preacher/Pastor.
Be Respectful
Remain respectful of what you're there for and others around you. Paying attention to what is going on gives you the opportunity to get the most out of the service.
Late Arrival
Do your best to arrive at church on time, or better, before the service starts. In most cases, it is okay to enter late, but be as quiet as possible and sit toward the back so you don't interfere with others worshiping.
Taking Your Children
Children of all ages are welcome. There is a special youth or children's services held in another room so adults can worship with their full attention.
Be confident your children are in save hand as all our workers are DBS checked.
As small children can become disruptive, there is a play area where they can be taken to be comforted and kept under control. There is also a baby change facility.
Socialise
There will be refreshments/fellowship following each Sunday service, mingle, chat and meet new friends. There are other periodical social events, summer barbecues, day trip for Sunday school; summer church party and Christmas parties.
